Please note if you know your student is going to be absent for 5-10 days, and you are seeking an Independent Study packet, we need 2 weeks notice to process your request.
Please CLICK HERE to submit your request for Independent Study at least 2 weeks in advance. We will review your request, and you will be notified whether or not your request has been approved.
Once your request has been approved, the office will issue you an Independent Study contract. This contract will need to be signed by both you and your student. The teacher will be notified and he/she will provide your student with school work to complete. The work will be given to your student the day before the IS begins and must be completed and returned on the day they return.If you do not request 2 school weeks prior, we cannot guarantee the request will be approved. Please note, independent study is only granted to those who will be missing a minimum of 5 days of school with a maximum of 10 days of school.
